Stalin would take the wheat grown by the peasants grown in the collective farms and send to his cities in Russia such as Moscow and other large Russian cities. They would also export the grain grown to other countries to make money such as: London, Frankfurt, Vienna, Paris, and Luxemburg. Stalin was so interested in fixing the Soviet Unions economy that he didn't care about what happened to the Ukrainian people. It wasn't that the Ukrainians were not producing enough grain either.
